Working for this company was satisfying. Making sure that kids got to eat everyday was what it was all about.

The school schedule was a definite pro. And with upscale catering, it was not all kids, all the time.

Some of the challenges would be things going on at the unit level that were not fully understood from corporate

Pros

The people I worked with were great. The benefits were good and they gave us access to many other perks (i.e. discounts at online retailers). Upper management seemed genuinely interested in an employee's feedback and in the employee personally.

Cons

Its a big company so individuals can feel like a small cog in the machine. This is especially true since direct managers are often overwhelmed with their various duties.
