      A company that gives a right direction for an employee's growth

      Pros

      Frequent training to employees, an yearly review for performance of employee, insistence for job satisfaction, yearly department trip to a cool place with family, good hr policies, a good management that drives the company and employee to grow.

      Cons

      Employees in service departments needs to have more benefits. Performance review of the employees can be more transparent. Frequent changes in policies can be avoided.

      Pros

      Friendly coworkers, going for a big jobs, the job is always there. I have no problem getting time offs whenever needed.

      Cons

      Upper management told the lower management not to give good grade annual review points. Annual reviews based on how long you've been working there, not the job competency the employee possess at that time, for example: "i can't give you this high points because you haven't work here long enough"...duhhhh

      Pros

      Great opportunities to gain experience quickly and make a name within the cement/minerals industry. FLSmidth has a good name within the industry. Pay and benefits at or slightly above industry standards. People are overall wonderful to work with. Culturally diverse work environment. Opportunities for advancement seem to exist if employee is motivated. Experienced gained from FLS is a positive for other companies in the industry looking for applicants.

      Cons

      Management hierarchy is wide with recent acquisitions. Many managers focus on own departments or product groups instead of overall good of FLS group. Difficulties arise in working between departments. Appears efforts are being made to improve structure.
