Pros

A few years ago I would have listed numerous pros but they are now few and far between. They do have a good bonus program.

Cons

Sr. Management is pushing “woke” values but has become more discriminating in the past few years. Mandated Covid vaccinations to all employees regardless of valid medical concerns and/or religious views. Fired many excellent employees as a result with no concern of their current situation. Promotions are few and far between with most given with little regard to qualification. Expect a minimum of 60+% travel even when offices around the world are afraid to open.

Pros

Benefits are ok.. I have no complaints with the staff and management at the campus I worked. Work load is manageable.

Cons

As others have stated this company has taken a hard left turn in politics. Become WOKE or they will show you the door. FM Global prides themselves on inclusion and diversity. While this is a great idea, they do not live up to their claims. They will deny your religious beliefs and give you no explanation as to their decision. My body my choice will only apply to abortions at this company apparently. Environment inside the research and approvals labs is definitely another con. You will be expected to do blue collar work for blue collar pay in a dirty cancerous environment. While they will supply you with whatever safety equipment and training necessary, it is impossible to avoid touching and breathing in the toxins you will be exposed to every day. Noone who has been their long term and has worked in these labs looks healthy. You will be reminded about the benefits every time you talk about opportunities elsewhere as if money promised to you when you retire will replace morals, health and dignity. Limited opportunity to advance without a college degree.
