      Recent changes killed morale and you can feel it when you walk through the door. Not many people are happy.

      Pros

      To start, FM Global makes a real attempt at rewarding its employees. There are many company outings to attend. While I traveled for work and thus my meals were paid for, I couldn’t tell you how many times while I was in the office that lunch was being catered. The company is extremely stable. They have been in business for over 180 years. They offer a VERY nice retirement plan. Furthermore, their training is some of the best out there and the salaries are competitive.

      Competitive benefits, that’s about all.

      Cons

      Do not expect to move up the ladder if you don’t have an engineering degree, they really don’t care and would not consider to promote you unless you are willing to have a relationship with one of the big wigs or be stuck being a small manager doing administrative work. Management is horrible especially in the administrative teams. You will be micromanaged and babysat at every little thing you do. Get out once you have your 1-2 year experience. It is not worth it.
