Benefits, vacation, pension. I was always treated well and was able to have many opportunities.

Cons

Many different businesses are managed very differently. A gentle standard could provide consistency across bosses. The pay is below average, but a little offset with decent benefits.

Great to work at this financially well-performing Fortune 1000 company and have a real impact shaping its future. Although conservative the way many chemical companies are, there is genuine support for strategies and initiatives to generate shareholder value in ways beyond traditional financial measures.

Cons

Like it is at many U.S. publicly-traded companies, short-term financial performance reigns supreme. This can manifest in an all-hands-on-deck mentality to meet the quarter, even if it negatively impacts focus and investment into longer-term activities that could lead to greater growth and sustainability.
