Pros

The team at FMG is a lot of fun and it's easy to become friends with your coworkers here. The job is relatively easy .

Cons

Management is clueless. They refuse to hire more people so the employees they do have are consistently overwhelmed. Clients are always unhappy because service takes too long although staff is working as quickly as they can. There are simply not enough employees.

We hear you on the hiring front. We've just added 3 fantastic new reps and a great new Director for the team. Our goal is to make sure that we always strike a balance on the hiring front and our growth has put a lot of strain on Customer Service. As those folks come on board, we should see things stable off significantly. I understand that it can be tempting to assume that "management is clueless" when we haven't nailed the perfect balance of team members; but it's important to recognize that often building a team too fast can lead to a company filled with the wrong hires. One of the most consistent comments that you'll see throughout Glassdoor is that we have great front line people. We're careful when we hire because we want that to always be the case. That said, we could be better at anticipating our needs so that nobody feels overworked. Thanks for the feedback and have fun with your new teammates!

Pros

Great coworkers, casual environment, option to work from home.

Cons

Place is run by clueless upper management who don't take their employees into consideration or look after them. Your opinion doesn't matter and never will. Pay is horrible and they expect you to put in long hours. Crappy benefits

Well there's no question, we were not a highlight on your resume. Feeling heard is important and it sounds like we let you down on that front big time. Our apologies. Your advice to "look after employees more" is a fair reminder to make sure that we don't let anyone slip between the cracks. This experience is uncommon, but it can happen and we could be better at preventing it. Thanks for taking a minute to give us some feedback and insight into what it can feel like for someone that we could have done a better job investing in.

Pros

One side of the company operates like a modern tech company with great leaders and great collaboration.

Cons

The other side is more like a sweat shop with no communication and no trust. I've worked on both sides of the company long enough to know. One side is lacking leadership and you're treated as nothing more than a number.

When you mention the different mode of operation from team to team I can see what you're talking about. As a management team, we swap best practices and learn from one another, but sometimes the day-to-day work gets in the way of developing great management strategy. I've personally been coached and learned a lot from leadership on both sides. But to your point, we should be better at carving out that time across the organization. Nobody should feel like a temp and it sounds like we could do a better job at nurturing and developing teammates like yourself. Things like career coaching and technical training come to mind. If you haven't had a chance to speak with your manager, please do, there is probably an opportunity to offer you something in that respect—if not internally, through external resources/training. Thanks for the feedback.
