Pros

I been employed here for almost 3 years. The company listens to ideas. They have put millions into a new facility. The benefits are great. They have programs setup to further you along such as career track and 5 star. You can pretty much volunteer for overtime anytime u want. Overtime can be mandatory at ends of busy months due to employee/ workload ratio but thats a good thing as far as growth. Working and growing in the pandemic was difficult in most companies but seems like we have grown. I have seen many employees come in and thrive. The company prides itself with a "everyone knows your name" culture and safety first mentality. If u work hard and show up you will be rewarded.

Cons

Bring back the safety hour

Pros

Hours are reasonable, plus they let you practice after your shift if you need to touch up your skills. The Mandatory OT can be tiresome, but its OT nonetheless The welding was fun, easy to get comfortable and immerse yourself in the trade. Some of the team are great teachers, I've learned a lot from such little time spent.

Cons

The lack of communication from management drove me mad from some managers and workers, Either we didn't gel, or I was being deliberately pushed out of equations for some reason I wasn't aware of at the time.

Thanks for the well thought out commentary. We are actually working on starting a new shift at present that will be 4 10 hour days encompassing the weekends. This should alleviste most if not all of the OT issues we have at times. As for the communications issues we shall certainly review with management and look to improve where necessary.
