Thanks for the review both positive and negative. We will take the negative comments seriously as we always do and look to improve. Things are a bit crazy at present as we are getting back to pre-pandemic levels in terms of both sales and production and are a bit short-handed. Our business outlook is and has been always very strong! I wish your experience was a better one as we always strive to hire and maintain the best employees. Working in HR I can assure you that no employee ever lies about the job when we are hiring and we are very transparent in that area. As for rules, we will not sacrifice the safety and quality of the product which is why rules exist in the first place. They exist to help our employees and our customers in the long run. We have NO rules in place however that stop any employee from using the restrooms, employees talk freely during the course of their work operations, and while it is true cellphones are not permitted to be used on the production floor (nor should they be) they ARE permitted if necessary in case of an emergency. Please remember in your individual case that you left on your own accord (without giving proper notice) after you were warned for violating our "rules" by having "improper" messages/stickers on your toolbox that went against the company policy. All the best in your future career.

Pros

Most of the coworkers are good people. A handful of good managers that are the exception rather than the rule. A majority of the managers in all the Pittsburgh branches were too egotistical, especially the higher up you go.

Cons

-Unrealistic forced overtime. Some people have families and want to actually be able to make it to their kids sporting events. -Generally poor managers. Some were great, but most were awful, especially with higher levels of seniority. -Expectation to be willing to move around from building to building or shift to shift all on upper management’s whim.

Your comments are certainly respected and appreciated. Yes OT can be an issue at times due to the busy nature of our business and the heavy workload (which is a good thing) that we have. It is not always easy to find quality talent in this day and age! OT is never demanded without proper notice and we try and go the volunteer route at first before it is mandated. We are always open for suggestions on improving this issue. F+S constantly is reviewing the communication channels and providing management training to bolster the effectiveness of the management staff.
