They let you take vacation whenever you want as long as you put in a request 2weeks prior

Cons

No training, lack of Managment, PM’s are related to one another. I have been fighting just to get my last check. The lack of unprofessionalism is unbelievable! I was put at a property with no training and was given the lease to read and to figure it out from there. I did not have a Community director, just my maintance team. I was running the whole show! Processing rent checks, managing my Mantaince team to turn units. I was bringing extra clothes so that way I could help my team on my down time. Yet, I was just a leasing consultant. You might have a different experience but DO NOT work for FPI in the Sonoma county area! It was the most stressful job I have ever had to deal with. Good luck.

The only good thing about working for this company is they do promote within so if you want to move up in the company there is a lot of turn around so you will go from being a leading to manager within months.

Cons

The worst part about this company is there is no training. Once you become manager your left to figure everything out yourself no guidance from upper management. Also you do not receive hand book on any policy or procedures everything you need is on the company internet which has over 200 policies and procedures, so for example you will get disciplined on things that you did not know was a violation of company policy due to the fact you have. No time to read all the policy, which in return you will be terminated or on a performance plan For something that you may have no know was against the rules till after it happened so the training and policy’s should really be addressed to have successful employees for this company.

They have very good trainings.

Cons

If you don't belong to their clique, they will make sure you notice. They discriminates, harass and much more. I have seen a lot since I move to Colorado. Thanks God it was not towards me but towards other employees...Oh yeah. I don't know how they haven't been sue by those people. The turn over of employees at the properties at Colorado are insane, and crazy. People work there by entittlement not by earning their position.
