      Community Director- HIGHLY STRESSFUL/ UPPER MANGEMENT ARE BULLIES

      Pros

      FPI Management manages beautiful properties. The construction of the properties make you feel like you work/live in a luxurious building even though the property is located in a the slums of Los Angeles.

      Cons

      FPI demands a lot to be done by one single person. You do not get recognized for your hard work and dedication. Corporate Staff is more concerned with how you look and dress rather than how hard you work. They need to understand that every property is NOT built the same. It all depends on location and demographics. They cannot expect the same amount of work to be produced from a community director managing a property located in a rural area to a community director managing a property located in the slums of Los Angeles. They also need to understand that affordable housing is 100 times more work than conventional housing.

      Assistant Community Director

      Pros

      The residents are their greatest asset. Not many pros for FPI to brag about.

      Cons

      They only promote and support the young and inexperienced staff. Most staff reflect the barbie doll image. HR has allowed inappropriate staff behavior and do not follow up on grievances, preferring to fire those that do complain about their work environment. There are numerous pending lawsuits or complaints regarding fair housing practices when advertising pricing and amenities. Community Directors are allowed to pick and choose residents, based on whether they like the resident. Training is online and no personal teachings outside the office. Pay is horrible.

      Poor Upper Management

      Its a job. SORRY that's it.

      Cons

      Upper management is more like "high school" management. Finger pointing is how they delegate business on the daily... and you can NOT trust ANYONE! Each, only look out for themselves and they "sugar coat" the truth to clients which only hurt the backend of real business. Horrible place to work!
