Working with diverse group of people.

Cons

Very limited growth opportunities. Contractors who perform the same functions as Govt employees at other locations are paid considerably less and do same work.

Decent salary, great stepping stone job to accelerate into other federal positions, lots of down time on slow government days

Cons

No growth within company unless you change states, favoritism within management, excessive micro management, getting days off is a challenge sometimes due to Government shutdowns. *They will let you go for anything, or to hire a friend..
