Good but room for changes

Pros

FSA has a fairly easy hiring process and overall decent benefits. The people I worked with where nice and expectations were straight forward. Good for a short term (1-2) year stay,

Cons

No room for advancement at the company, which results in a high turnover rate. Pay is average but could be more competitive. Company prefers to hire new people regularly than putting effort into maintaining employees.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are glad to hear that you worked with a great team. While career progression working on certain types of government contracts can be difficult, FSA invests in its employees by providing a number of training opportunities and encouraging employees to apply for higher level positions when appropriate. We would be interested to learn where you feel we can improve our efforts to support our employees. Please email your suggestions to qc@fsafederal.com.

Thank you for your review. We are proud to be able to work with government agencies and provide candidates with opportunities to support important government programs. While we do have a number of entry-level positions, we also have a number of positions for experienced professionals in the legal, financial, and administrative fields. We encourage you to browse our current openings and work with your FSA Supervisor to identify areas where you may progress your career with FSA.

Pros

Benefits are great. I felt I was heard by the FSA supervisors (shout out to Virgil and Tammy). My position/location was awesome because the government employees treated me no differently. I was given opportunities for training at the NAC. I loved my job and my colleagues.

Cons

As other reviews stated, there is not room for advancement, HOWEVER we know this going in. Also, salary is not negotiable due to the fact FSA has a contract with the government based on set salaries. I can honestly say that any con is not the fault of FSA but is due to contracts set in stone. I gave 3 star for career opportunities simply because there isn't room to grow, but that is known at the time of hire.

Thank you for taking the time to not only leave a review, but to praise our benefits program and members of our team! In order to support career and skill advancement, FSA offers a robust online training program and a tuition reimbursement program. Where possible, we also encourage employees to apply for higher paying labor categories. We sincerely wish you the best in your future endeavors.
