Thank you for your review. We are happy to see that you enjoy your job and appreciate the pay and benefits. With government contracting, we are often held to the work schedules of our customer agencies; however, we encourage our employees to speak with their supervisors when a change in schedule is needed. Please reach out to qc@fsafederal.com if you have any questions or need additional assistance.

Good job

Pros

The best reason to work for this company is to be able to work within the agencies they support. While you are a government contractor, the contract is permanent, typically negotiated every 7 years so you have job security

Cons

The downside is that you are a government contractor. Worse is the positions do not have potential for growth, no raises or promotions.

Thank you for your review. FSA's track record of excellent performance and customer satisfaction has allowed us to provide long-term job security for many employees. Our pay rates are set according to our contracts and the Department of Labor; however, whenever it is possible for us to increase pay rates for employees, we will. We are also continuously looking for opportunities to reward our employees and encourage them to apply for higher paying job categories when appropriate. We are open to hearing any suggestions you may have and encourage you to reach out to qc@fsafederal.com.

Good work environment

Pros

Work is not too fast-paced, supervising/admin staff are personable and supportive. Get to work on-site with government attorneys

Cons

Slow work, not too much experience gained. No opportunities for advancement within company, pay is decent but below most private firms. Benefits are not great (e.g. temporarily discontinued 401(k) matching)

Thank you for taking the time to provide your review! We are pleased to read that you work with supportive staff and feel the work environment is a positive one. Career progression can often be difficult on government contracts; however, FSA strives to provide employees with opportunities to improve skills and increase knowledge by providing various training opportunities and a tuition-reimbursement program. Employees are also encouraged to apply for higher level positions when appropriate. Regarding our benefits, some changes were made during the early part of the pandemic; however, these changes were temporary and we feel our benefits package, to include a 401(k) match, is robust and offers great options going into 2022. Please reach out to your FSA Senior Manager or qc@fsafederal.com with any specific suggestions you may have on how we can improve your experience.
