      Pros

      Great Opportunity to work with unique clients. Little oversight so not any micro managing. Excellent work life balance. Wil never work over 40hrs per week.

      Cons

      Not a lot of opportunity for advancement but this is similar to most smaller contractors.

FSA does offer many different job categories and opportunities - we are pleased to hear that your current position allows for a good work life balance. Regarding advancement opportunities - especially in the DC area - we have a very high percentage of positions that are filled by internal candidates. Many of those jobs are at a higher labor category or pay rate for those employees. FSA will continue to work very hard to provide additional job opportunities for our employees. We have many positions available - and encourage anyone who is interested and qualified to apply.

FSA currently has several positions open, and we are actively seeking candidates - both internal and external. In 2016, more than 33% of our open positions were filled by internal applicants. We acknowledge that there is a perception that there is not a lot of room for growth - and we are working to change that belief.       Great Contract Company!

      Pros

      This is a Federal contract company who really cares for their contractors. Great support in all phases of employment. Leaves you to be completely independent to do your job.

      Cons

      Like all contract companies they have no control over the agency for whom one toils. So excellent interpersonal skills are needed by the contractor to navigate the shoals of that particular agency.
