Use as stepping stone, not career.

Pros

Can get you a foot in the door at federal government positions, can be great work experience. Use as a stepping stone, not a career. There is a 2.5% 401K match, which isn't a lot but it is something!

Cons

Not great pay- there's no promotion or pay raise potential. They also make you use your own leave for snow days, which is ridiculous because each contract was already allocated that money for that day and it is a government shut down.

Complete Joke of a Company

Pros

The salary is decent. It gives you an interesting opportunity to work with in the government. Make no mistake that you are a second class citizen to the government employees. You don't get raises or even a decent annual review. The company doesn't care about their employees at all.

Cons

You don't get raises or even a decent annual review. The company doesn't care about their employees at all.
