      Pros

      Great benefits and decent compensation. Most of the people who work there are easy to get along with and intelligent. Relaxed working environment.

      Cons

      Extremely difficult to get into the right projects. Most of it is luck at the staff level. If you get put with the right group, you can go a long way and learn quite a bit. If not, you can literally go backwards or stay quite stagnant. No inter-office communication whatsoever between management and staff. Consulting nature of billable hours is always a constant hassle.

      Pros

      The work can be interesting if you manage to get on the right deals. Generally speaking, the staff is pretty bright.

      Cons

      Little infrastructure, so formal training opportunities are limited. Internal communication is weak. The review process is structured to accomodate a much smaller firm. Compensation is below market. If you want to succeed, you need to get in good with someone who can get you on the right deals. If you can't manage to get in with the right people, GOOD LUCK! Virtually no emphasis on developing staff. There is no clear indication of what it takes to get promoted.

      Pros

      Lots of opportunities to advance if you dedicate to the work. But expect to work hard and much of your performance is related to billable hours

      Cons

      Billable hours is common in consulting and is quite a drag. You get harassed by HR anytime you don't make target hours.
