Pros

Salary was fair. Benefits and bonus were great. Ability to work from home was a real plus! There are some really wonderful and smart leaders and colleagues here.

Cons

This is a very disjointed organization. Each business unit operates mostly independently but then there are shared services that serve across all businesses. Rules for one business don’t necessarily apply to others so there are a lot of “haves and have-nots”. Some senior leaders are bullies with no chain of command. Employees have no recourse when that’s the case.

Pros

See below. Trust me. It’ll be your biggest mistake if you work for Fujifilm.

Cons

Literally every week, someone leaves the company. Since I started, they have not had an actual HR rep. They don’t have an admin for the office. No HR met us on the day one. There were no hands on training for the benefits. They don’t answer your questions almost all the time. I had to speak with my manager’s manager to get HR to answer my basic questions about when and how much I get paid. They also messed up my first few paychecks (sent to wrong account/address). They didn’t pay me on time because they made mistakes… no HR is present for us. So we are stuck with these issues. I had a co worker started on the same day. She was gone within a month. There are many vacant spots that are not being filled for more than 6 months. One of the coworkers left after 3 months. I can keep going. The company also doesn’t hesitate to laid off. I’ve been told enough about their history. We talk about the issues/concerns every day. Very sad knowing Fujifilm was once number one/twi in the film industry. They relocated from Californian not too long ago and every time they have bad year, they laid off employees. They will trick you with higher pay but trust me it is really not that worth it. There are many other countries who would pay you the same and treat you better. After all, you can tell Fujifim isn’t doing well anymore. It’s very obvious that this company has issues. I don’t think they have good future ahead of them. Just stay away is my advice.
