      Pros

      I traveled 3 times a year both in the U.S. and in Europe for event vs. traveling for every single event such as 10 x 10 booths. I would mostly attend events with 10 x 20 or larger. Because these were corporate events. I did not have to work a lot of weekends. Sales meetings and tradeshows would start on a Monday or Tuesday and end on a Friday. I planned meetings with teams prior to events. I was able to work remotely and go into the office once a week.

      Cons

      Not much room for promotion. The health benefits were not great. The Human Resources Department had poor communications.

      Not a place for a career, rather, just a pit stop between jobs.

      Pros

      Great co-workers that are pleasant and dedicated. Past paced so time really flies.

      Cons

      Clueless management that have their jobs based upon years of service to the company rather than ability. Unless you have been an employee “grown from the pod” (been with them your entire career), you are viewed as an outsider, regardless of years of service. Constant headcount reductions dictated by Tokyo. People are nuked and walked out that day. The survivors left to pickup the pieces. Unless you are Japanese, you will never make senior management.

      Pros

      One of the better paying jobs in this college town, coworkers can be great

      Cons

      HR prevents career growth, supervisors are under qualified and lie on their resumes, 0 communication between departments, constant materials mismanagement, very dog-eat-dog work culture, women constantly harassed and nothing is done about it
