Pros

Such a fun company with a vibrant company culture and competitive benefits too!

Cons

Stressful if you end up working with someone who doesn’t take initiative. Thankfully most people pulled their weight well.

Good upper management, great access to information for learning things about the business that pertain to your role, and good support while training/new

Cons

Beware of promises in interview, get it in writing, rush to hire sales associates therefore counter productive, stores face negative consequences for low traffic and sales

Healthy customer-centric approach

Pros

I’ve only been with the company for a few months, but I’ve been blown away every single day by the way we’re expected to treat and interact with customers. It’s not that toxic “the customer is always right” mentality you get at most companies that really just devalues employees and makes everyone who works there feel unappreciated and disrespected. And yet, it’s still very much a customer-oriented business. We’re encouraged to treat every single customer we interact with they like were a close relative or friend. Which basically just means: be kind, but don’t think you have to take any person . If your friend was being rude, you’d call them out on it, but you’d do it in a friendly way because you value their friendship. When they explained all of this to me during the training I was flabbergasted. I’ve been in customer service for the last 8 years and I never thought about it this way. It’s a game-changer!

Cons

Not everyone can actually live this approach in practice. I was hired on at the same time as another rep and they struggled actually interacting with customers in this way. I didn’t think it was difficult, but I guess it just depends person to person.
