Comradery amongst associates, but management is a tyrant

Pros

Comradery with other associates, discount, and flexibility if going to school, another job, etc. You can work your way up the ladder pretty quickly, but (see cons).

Cons

Needs more organization to avoid staying there after hours or overworking employees. Management is not loyal to their employees who've been there for a long time, even if you've been promoted or worked hard, they will do away with you if their authority is justifiably questioned.

Benefits were the best thing about this job! Great health insurance, “unlimited” PTO, great company holiday schedule, parties, events etc.

Cons

Beware of the merchandising department here… it was a complete disaster. Truly the most unorganized, unprofessional, unwelcoming, and rude group I’ve ever worked with. They play favorites and are catty as per the other review I saw on here. Honestly made my time there so miserable. Everyone at the company also seems to be very cliquey.

Cons

Store managers have no accountability from their bosses. Most Store managers are only promoted because they are friends with the DM’s. Any complaints taken to upper management are not seriously considered and taken action by. They expect you to be available 24/7 even during your PTO.
