Pros

Run like a corporation, not a law firm. Good mix of work responsibilities and experiences within the financial area.

Cons

Too much redundant work, and rarely any review of what was necessary, or being used, which ended up being "busy work" no one actually looked at or used, causing long hours to get all the work done that was necessary as well as that which wasn't .

Smart people from whom you can learn to become a better attorney

Cons

Poor upper level management and business generation. They have not made anyone partner in the San Francisco office for 6 years. Over 10 mid-level associates left the firm after the economy recovered between 2011-2013.
