Pros

The growth potential in the cloud security space is exciting, the management structure is flat, their are no doors to the offices of the senior team members, cool vibe to the place, not many duds on the teams if any

Cons

In my department, the growth path for the newer hires isn't as clear as in other companies. People get promoted and receive bonuses but they don't seem to be part of a formal process

Great feedback. A lot of time was spent in the design and layout of the office for that very reason, so we’re happy to hear you love it as much as we do. We think the cloud security space is extremely exciting which is why we’ve invested resources into growing that product and have seen exponential growth in the past year from that offering. We are working on formalizing development plans and growth paths for all team members, so everyone has the opportunity to continue to grow with FairWarning as we grow. We’re excited for the future, especially with the cloud security product, and continue to encourage your open and honest feedback to help us succeed.

Pros

FairWarning is a unique technology company. Finding a software development company that is local to Tampabay and has everyone in one building is unheard of in other companies. FairWarning is tackling some of the hardest business problems and working with the latest technologies to solve them. It is a demanding fast paced culture but it is very rewarding. Knowing that the product we build helps protect people's information is a great feeling. The company as a whole is aligned to make the customer successful. The politics between teams that I have seen at other companies does not exist here. Since the whole company is in one location, it makes for easy communication between teams. I will often get stopped in the hallway or break room with a question or an idea from another team. The people here are some of the best I have ever worked with. While the company is demanding it does reward individuals. While money is not my main reason for working at FairWarning, it is something that can't be ignored. I have been compensated very well financially and get company wide recognition for my accomplishments. The inclusive culture keeps the teams from becoming silos. There are monthly events sponsored by the company to give the teams a way to interact outside the office. The company has fun events for different holidays throughout the year. The field day event in the summer brings out the competitiveness in everyone. Overall, you will not find another place like FairWarning where each individual can have an impact on and be part of the company's success.

Cons

It is demanding and fast paced. This is not where you come to work if you don't want to be held accountable. When you sign up for a task you have to deliver.

Pros

Great people and culture. Awesome product at the top of the industry, and management is dedicated to reinvesting in its development. I came to the company in an entry-level sales role and was able to move to a role that better suits me within a year. I look forward to continuing along my career path here.

Cons

As with any growing company, there are bumps on the way. It's a private, family-owned company, so if you're used to a corporate structure, it'll be an adjustment. If you're used to sales but don't have experience in the healthcare industry, be aware that deals can take months to years from initial contact to close, but the payoff is big when they do come in.
