Pros

Provided great foundational knowledge and experience when working the 911 calls. Crews are amazing when you get to know them.

Cons

There were a handful of times where some shifts/24-hour stations would shut down due to "low patient census" which is an issue for kicking employees off their shift and causes a bigger issue when those areas become busy again.

Pros

-great stepping stone job for those of you interested in the medical field/law enforcement/fire -Having that "first responder" title -Networking with hospital staff, firefighters, police officers -great hands-on experience in a fast paced environment -a lot of down time

Cons

-terrible pay -a lot of down time -managers are horrible and get mad when they have to actually do their job -scheduling messes with your schedule without notice -This company does not take care of their employees at all and will let you go for any little thing
