some really good people who care. we do important work for people when they're out of country and sick. I loved helping my customers

Cons

management. they're fired 2 managers in under a year, including forcing one out after he had a death in his family. the rest of our leadership is in Richmond so they're rarely here and when they are they're off in meetings all day. rather than be accountable when things go south, operations gets blamed. our supervisors (there are no managers anymore since they released the last 2) are overworked and stressed.

A good way to get a foot in the door as an EMT. Entry-level job, no experience necessary. Overtime allowed. Good employees who are usually willing to help you.

Cons

Barely above minimum wage pay. Overtime required to pay bills. Ambulances always have things going wrong. Front half supervisors can be very rude when asking to have ambulances repaired. Fire people for getting injured on the job. No medical control. Sends brand new paramedics with no experience out without training. Understaffed. Many people work 36 hours straight to fill open shifts.
