Pros

- The opportunity to help people

Cons

- Upper management is oblivious to employees' feedback - Pay rate is below the minimum for Assistance Coordinators - Blatant disregard for safety of employees when hurricanes approach - Favoritism in shift scheduling - Performance reviews are almost never favorable despite proof of case updates - Upper management places more focus on eliminating gossip than retaining subordinates

Pros

Opportunities to help others in need.

Cons

Other inner office rules only apply when convenient for HR. Poorly managed HR department. Would rather stalk team members in hopes of catching cell phone usage than assist team members. When approached about the inconsistencies, escalated issues, harassment, ect. You are meet with attitude and are no longer able to get responses to any requests. Staff are treated as though they are disposable and can be replaced. No raises, constant broken promises for upward mobility. No chance of a schedule change. Once the supervisor was let go, her personal business and immigration status was publicized. Overall no work ethics in place. Passive and at times aggressive management. Hands off approach to the actual job, they would prefer to ignore everything until finger pointing begins. There is a major disconnect between staff actually working the cases and management who are unaware of these same cases. Unbalanced work life, unbalance work environment. Very unstable due to upper managements limited scope. Lack of thought and follow thru is apparent. Unwillingness to address issues that arise. Promise of things getting better yet no improvements. Avoid this place, the pay sucks and their attitudes are worse.
