Pros

Verihealth/Falck Northern California is a great place to work. I really like how accessible management is and how well maintained our equipment is. It seems like no one feels like they are too good to jump in and help out. Benefits are really good, 401k with a 6% match and great health plans to choose from.

Cons

Nothing really noteworthy. Dispatch gets busy sometimes and it takes a few minutes to get a hold of them. I think you'll find that at any company.

Pros

Being able to get 911 experience and running ALS calls. Working two 24 hour shifts a week And having the option to have 5 days off or work over time

Cons

The higher ups only care about money and their benefit Very quick to fire employees You help them out they don't return the favor Managers talk down to you Operation managers are not the best They hire ANYONE if your breathing and have a EMT card you will get hired. The quality of employees has dropped substantially. Ambulances are horrible (unless you get a new one)
