Good people to work with. Good management. Values oriented. Training offered with opportunities to move into other positions like CCT, NICU, ALS positions. Very flexible with part timers. New rigs.

Cons

Low pay but this is standard for BLS. Power gurneys seem to be the newer standard in EMS yet only the CCT units have them.

Pros

get good ems experience working Fire shifts. You learn a lot that you can take home with you after words, i.e. working under pressure, taking the lead when your partner is a newbie, dealing with stressful situations, etc.

Cons

Some emts are ricky rescues and are hard to work with, Management began to suck before I left. before we had two lunch breaks during a 12 hours shift.. then they cut it down to just one.
