Small, can make a difference

I've been at Fallon for just over five months, and I'm honestly blown away by the supportive environment here. My manager has been incredibly flexible and understanding when I’ve needed to take breaks or leave early for appointments. From the start, there’s been a real emphasis on professional growth—managers actually take the time to talk with you about your career path and how to get to where you want to go. Similarly, I also found the training to be extremely comprehensive, with classes led by instructors really knew their stuff. I felt extremely confident that I could succeed in the role by the time training was finished. I’ve seen multiple people in my department (Customer Service) move up into higher roles, both within and outside the department, and there are frequent announcements about internal promotions across the organization. It's clear that advancement is possible here if you put in the effort. Some reviews mention micromanagement, but that hasn’t been my experience. As long as you're reliable and doing your job, managers trust you to manage your time. No one's hovering over you or stressing out over a quick bathroom break. That level of trust makes a huge difference in day-to-day morale. I've found my colleagues to be very inviting, warm, friendly, and willing to help. No one has ever treated me like I was dumb for not knowing something. The company is committed to promoting DEI initiatives which has a noticeably positive impact on the tone and vibe of the company culture. The company is truly committed to serving the community and providing the Massachusetts population with the best, most comprehensive healthcare at a low cost. Working here doesn't feel like we are squeezing money out of members: it genuinely feels like we are helping people who need it most when they need it most.
