Pros

Highly satisfying to help clients protect their loved ones. Ability to set your own hours. The more you work, the more you earn. Management is always available if you need help, but not in your face monitoring your every activity. Working here feels very much like running your own business but with the resources and support of a large organization.

Cons

In general people are rude and inconsiderate. Potential clients no-show for appointments, hang up when you contact them, and will sometime abuse you with profanity. A thick skin is required to shake off these events and continue ahead.

Pros

Great for self starters, Comp plan is out of sight. All training is online and free. Your boss doesn’t get rich off of you while you struggle like at other companies. Regular people make huge sums and freely share their methods to help everyone. Comparing a two week pay period- month after month - I earned more in 3 hours here then I did in 110 hours as a service writer for a car dealership. You’re paid in 24-72 hours after you write a policy which is amazing. Your life is yours again and you out-earn your previous boss if you try just a little.

Cons

I’m reaching here: The comp plan is so good it can make you lazy if you’re unmotivated. It’s easy to lose momentum if you take a big vacation with your new found wealth in the beginning. You are starting a business and have lead expenses etc. if you are scared to reinvest in your business you won’t succeed.
