Pros

Higher comp than some other IMOs

Cons

You DON’T own your book of business, you are NOT released from carriers once you inevitably leave, you are encouraged to buy crappy leads because they make profit when you buy them, leads are shared with other FFL agents, MANY cancellations due to using expensive carriers, hardly any support from higher and that’s JUST producer complaints, not manager complaints

Pros

None, do not bother applying to this business. Apply with Symmetry Financial Group to get the real support, high quality leads and system that it takes for an insurance agent to succeed.

Cons

This company will use your personal information in unauthorized ways. Since the day I applied with them in 2019 they have shared and sold my information to so many internal and external entities that I had to file a BBB complaint and seek remedy to be left alone. Never started to work for them due to high degree of lies and mismanagement.

Pros

It's insurance... You buy leads, you sell insurance 90 percent will be gone inside of 3 - 6 months.

Cons

That I didn't find out sooner about how terrible the lead system is. Get ready to drive around. literally... state to state.

If 90% of an agents policies were gone 6 months later then that would be a sign that the agent is doing something wrong in the home. Most carriers will terminate your contract if you fall below a 70%. Unfortunately, some agents do not reach out for help when they deal with rejection or failure in the field and instead choose to blame the IMO. Being teachable is one of the most important factors for being successful here.
