Fast is a company that allows you to actually be a part of the company's success. Although the company is growing quickly, the partners maintain the 'small' feel by showing compassion and understanding for each employee. The partners are constantly assessing the company to determine what would make us stronger, more resilient, and more competitive all while maintaining a focus on keeping employee morale high. People feel truly fortunate to be able to work here.

Cons

The company is fairly flat, so growth potential can be limited. However, hard work is rewarded, compensation is more than fair, and all of the other pros certainly tame any cons.

Pros

Great starting salaries for implementation consultants. Moving costs are covered by the company. Plenty of opportunity for professional development. Opportunities in roughly half the state capitals in the US, as well as locations abroad. Great place to develop object oriented programming skills with little prior experience. Flat organization with minimal management overhead. Project Managers are also developers who work with you on problems. Paid overtime, of which the first 40 hours can be transferred into a third week of paid vacation. Employees earn a one month sabbatical ("FAST Pause") after 4 years of employment. Company is extremely successful, and the success is shared with employees.

Cons

Work focuses around configuring a proprietary system, which limits how transferable an employees skills are to other tech jobs. Company may require employees to move with very little notice. Little opportunity to work remotely. Requires employees to "dress up" relative to the clients that employees serve.

Fast provides a great work environment with awesome people to work with. The partners are always looking on how they can improve the company and their employees' work life as well as benefits offered. Fast always gives back to the communities that they work in through volunteering time.

Cons

Not knowing when or where you are going to move can be a bit stressful, but they work well with you on this and make moving about as easy as it can be
