Pros

Pay used to be good before they slashed the bonus structure. PTO used to be good before they made it impossible to use and punished you with extra weekends when you used it.

Cons

Everything is about profit, patient safety and employees are not even after thoughts. They allow an unlimited number of patients to walk in at the last second meaning you never get out on time, sometimes much much later. Managers, schedulers, essentially everyone in leadership are absolute bullies, extremely unprofessional, totally toxic work environment. Nothing ever changes for the better. They sure as heck don’t listen to feedback.

Pros

Shift work, full days off, pay

Cons

Unreasonable patient volume expectation (taking appointments and unlimited walk ins as a solo provider), feels like any concerns fall on deaf ears, focused on increasing walk ins/patient reviews/decreased wait time even if providers are overwhelmed. Communication gap between clinical team and corporate team

Pros

You get to visit the urgent twice a month for free which you will need since this place will make you sick and their health insurance is crap.

Cons

I was brought on to work with another PA and then found out that double coverage would only happen if we averaged a certain number of patients per day. We missed that number by 2-3 (which was unrealistic) and I was seeing 60 patients a day by myself. If we were lucky enough to have double coverage and a tech called out, the junior PA (me) would have to go to another facility that was short. That could be over an Hour away! They also lied about the bonus - it was minuscule to nonexistent. The health insurance also sucks. It’s a high deductible plan that covers nothing.
