Pros

Getting to learn how to do most everything in large scale sign printing and production from design to completion.

Cons

Depending on the store, you get owners who have lost touch with reality and still think it's the 90s. Compensation and benefits are practically nonexistent and you better be ready to be the cheap owner's handyman for just about everything (repairing stuff you're not trained to as an example). Dead end job ideal for high schoolers.

Pros

Amazing if you want fast paced and pressure and can perform. Everyone has rush jobs and is very happy when you complete it on time.

Cons

Undervalue worth. I had a masters degree and received $14 an hour and a designer that was there for 10+ was at $17.50 an hour.
