      Unsupervised installations during the work day.

      Cons

      No do-overs on some of the installations. They must be done right the 1st time.

      Pros

      Great, family-style atmosphere, OK pay. Develop skills as you go along. Great work setting, you have a lot of sales freedom.

      Cons

      Many flaws in the system of work. Although it is a family-style atmosphere at work, people may point the finger too much at each other.

      Pros

      I learned tons about sign making and graphic design. Most of my coworkers were great, and it was a fun environment. Pay was pretty good.

      Cons

      The owner only cared about making money and not about developing a cohesive sales force. We were always reminded about daily minimums and how we performed compared to other locations. Lots of turnover. No room for growth.
