Business Outlook
Pros
It’s honest work, especially if you’re interested in some creative problem solving and hands-on tasks. And there can be opportunities to learn new skills, such as some basic graphic design or sales tactics.
Cons
There is zero room for upward mobility, no HR to go to if there is a problem, and your experience will depend immensely on who happens to own/manage your specific location. Some are wonderful, but others will burn you out, won’t respect or value you or your skills, and will try to push you into jobs that you didn’t sign on for (such as trying to make production workers do sales calls and making customer service workers act as personal assistants).
