Pros

The people (mostly), pay, hours, and benefits are all good to go.

Cons

Most office personnel (dispatch / mgmt) seem to have all gone to the same school of unrealistic expectation. They all believe that 2 inches on their google map means you can get there without a problem and don't ever really consider the reality of traffic, weather, time of day, if school is in or out, is the dock accessible with a van, is there a dock, etc... all of these variables matter!

Pros

The paycheck will never bounce

Cons

very long hours, forced to do dock work after driving many hours on the road, Obviously when you choose to take on this career you should be aware that quality of life after work is virtually non existent. Policy is only enforced when it suits the needs of the folks in charge of human resources. Plan to be just a number as expected.

After working here for six years the new hires are making almost the same amount and there is no compensation. Dealing with extremely high stress levels. Increasingly micromanaged
