Pros

I am not sure where to begin! The first interaction I had with Fedwriters was with VP Eric Stone! He reached out to me b/c he found my resume on clearance jobs! During this time they were getting ready to bid on my current contact! Eric was so friendly! Fast forward two months in July 2022 and i received another call from Eric saying they won the contract! During the two month period I was I in the process of going to NGA and working for a new company! Eric was so nice that I rescinded my offer! Again hands down the best company! Maryanne (HR) is amazing! My PM Anthony is always helpful! They truly care about you!

Cons

None! Absolutely none that I can think of!

Pros

I started working for FedWriters in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and it quickly became the best job I ever had. I worked a hybrid schedule with a DoD customer, and right from the start, I knew it was the perfect fit for me. I was treated as a subject matter expert, and encouraged to play outside the bounds of my contract work if possible. Not only was it possible, but the customer highly encouraged it! I got the opportunity to write news articles, starred in video content, and embraced my creative side by creating humorous content. Through it all, FedWriters stood behind me and continued to support the good work that I did. I was asked to serve as a guest speaker for a company all-hands meeting, and senior leadership routinely messaged me to praise me for the good feedback they received from our DoD customer. I was also impressed with how the company was able to retain its identity. With regular company all-hands meetings, weekly "power hour" Zoom calls, and monthly trivia nights, they really did a great job crafting a spirit of camaraderie. Nothing was ever forced, but it was nice to have that level of support available during the pandemic. When I informed FedWriters that I was leaving for an opportunity with the federal government, senior leaders emailed me personally to wish me luck and thank me for my time with them. It was a small gesture, but it speaks volumes to their integrity. I wasn't just a number, I was a valued member of the team. I'll miss working there dearly.

Cons

I had no issues at FedWriters whatsoever. I always felt supported, valued, and trusted. I left to take a job with the federal government, but leaving was very bittersweet. I'd return again in a heartbeat.

Pros

My experience with FedWriters has been exceptional. The Leadership Team joined my orientation! They spent time getting to know me and educate me about the company. The recognition program is unique, and I look forward to achieving all of the incentives. Communication is also an A plus. My manager has a genuine interest in how things are going. There is also regular communication from the HQ team. Onboarding was a breeze and really allowed me to focus on my customer's mission. In short, I feel seen and heard.

Cons

As a small business, I'm sure there are struggles I am unaware of. As an employee of the company, I haven't experienced any yet. Normally I worry about expensive benefits with a small business, but my health insurance is 100% paid!
