Pros

good work-life balance, great federal benefits, current team is great and encourages professional development, office is overall chill. FHWA is very invested in the well being of its employees and supports training opportunities when they arise.

Cons

A very engineer centered agency, and this position in particular is capped at GS-9. It has been hard until March 2022 at least to find in-agency lateral or upward moves that can be taken to grow professionally.
