Pros

Fun work environment, tons of great experience. Perfect stepping stone for a career. Relaxed company culture.

Cons

Salary is a good 10-15K lower when compared to other jobs in the DC area. 15-20K plus for senior lvel positions. The company announced it was moving to Florida in The Washington Post before it even notified its employees. Little information is being shared with employees about the move. Horrible morale for everyone left. Pretty disgusting value system for a family entertainment company. Employees are not treated like family.

You’re replaceable

Pros

Traveling the world, meet cool people, make new connections

Cons

Have to work a ton of overtime just to make a decent paycheck. Management sees you as just another number unless you kiss their butts. Coworkers don’t care about helping others and are only there for the money and travel and are extremely rude. Will be let go and told “you’re not a good fit” because they dont like you personally

Traveling sales management

Pros

Travel is paid for Hotels are paid for Opportunity to explore the country or world if you get the opportunity to go international Some great teams

Cons

No per diem Low pay Only one day off a week (they count travel days as days off even though travel can take all day-a coworker arrived at 11pm today and the company considers it a day off despite dictation the flight, the destination, and the fact that travel occurs at all) International travel selection process is biased Depending on your department, it can be very cliquey They consider the cost of travel and hotel stays as part of your benefits and pay you accordingly
