Pros

I started this job with high hopes of making it a career. I was shoved into a position that I knew nothing about. I learned the job over a period of ninety days, the only real pros were some of the people were nice I guess. That, and that I was mostly left alone to do my job after I finally got the hang of it.

Cons

1. I had a co-employee who came in after me and she was two-faced and disrespectful to me. I had been asked if I would like an earlier position and I had said yes but heard nothing else about it. A solution to avoid this person altogether and avoid conflict and the main reason was that a family member had a terminal illness and I simply asked to be expedited to that earlier spot without drama or even any reprimand to the accused. I instead had a posse of management encircle me with the accused (who was crying) and was attacked by the owner of the company and made to somehow be in the wrong and I still don't know what for. I was threatened to be fired for what I did. I will tell you now to this day, I ended up getting along fine after this with my co-employee and I never trusted any of the management after that. The idea of me going to an earlier shift was in fact, my supervisors at the time. I never did get my earlier shift, my family member died, and I just didn't ever truly understand the way I was treated and the reason as to their hurtful attack upon me there. Weird and stupid. I did my best and I did my job and what happened to me was horribly insulting and wrong. I just went back to my job, and I kept my mouth shut. The job I did was too much for my body, I calculated that I went up and down the stairs about 400 times per day and I just had no feeling in my fingers from my back being jarred, I was never offered another position and when I received my "voluntary termination" it stated that I declined any offers to another position which was an outright lie. I am a nice person, I have no idea why I was treated this way, perhaps it was because I wasn't from this town? Very unprofessional, very shady, and the management could use some etiquette. The owner thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread and I don't see anything all that fancy. He seems like an alcoholic with a temper not to mention a narcissistic ego. He had more substance than rest of them though. Shane Jackson was the best person in the building. He was the only real person there. The sad part is the honest employees like me are apparently not worth anything to these snotty uppity-for-no-reason people.

Pros

Its a job if you need one.

Cons

Very unprofessional & dysfunctional work environment. Company under pays and over works. I spent 11 months in the management training program and was never promoted. Company long on promises and short on delivery. Company is sales oriented and does nothing to develop staff. Staff is highly stressed to multi task and perform other employees jobs. Location I worked in actually had 2 people quit during working hours it was so bad.
