      Pros

      Working there is good if you are part of the management's inner circle.

      Cons

      If you are not part of their inner circle, working there is difficult. Petty and vindictive management. Favoritism is the normal. Inner circle has it easy, while the other team members work extra hard to pick the extra load. Management unable to keep a full working department, due to employee burnout.

      Pros

      Lots of career paths available, management is generally supportive of employees who want to expand their horizons and move into new roles.

      Cons

      The HQ tech center annex is overcrowded and uncomfortable. Ferguson also has to share profits with Wolseley PLC, which means Ferguson employees often bear the brunt of poor performance in Europe even when Ferguson does well.

      Pros

      The best reason to work here may be to be able to have a ft job and if you stay long enough you may be able to move departments.

      Cons

      No employee appreciation, no holiday parties, not much recognition. Management needs to be more engaged with employees that work hard. They hide open positions to hire who they want and not have to deal with interviewing interested applicants from within. Favor graduates out of college over employees that have been with the company. Overall I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
