Pros

Easy work, benefits, and good colleagues

Cons

Demanding management, don’t reward your hard work even after meeting metrics for merit increase, and will Pigeon hole you in a position if you’re good at it and will continue to make empty promises for growth

Pros

High spiffs and commission. Made my own decisions for clients. Meet great people. Sent to great trainings.

Cons

Bought out by Trian fung management who are a private equity company. Became micromanaged. No decision making ability. Continuously heard about our shareholders and not our customers. Fired the best showroom manager I have had. Hired someone from Home Depot who wants clerks and not sales consultants. Was lied to by all of upper management.

Pros

No vacation shaming, no problem taking a few hours off here &there for misc things.

Cons

Using 18 different softwares to log the same information just in different systems. Bosses don't know how much you actually do in a day. Training is extremely long yet unproductive. You can't use your personal time, that's only for family emergencies. You have to use your vacation time. You are expected to go on &off que at exactly the right times. They grade your calls. You get perk points for your on que time being met, no missed calls, and logging every call. But you can't get any overtime without prior approval which you can't get so you better not get a call too close to being off or your in trouble one way or another. I had a system I couldn't use &even though I was meeting all my other goals since I couldn't log calls in that particular system for over a year I didn't get any accommodation or leeway and never got the perks for meeting all the goals, even though it was an I.T. issue and not my fault.
