Pros

Opportunity to move around and seek positions nationwide. Benefits/vacation and perks are great

Cons

Culture/SOP/advancement varies drastically between locations and parts of the country. Leadership is lacking, support is lacking. Continually changing systems to improve, but seems to do the opposite. Commissions can be good, but extremely convoluted and even managers do not understand exactly how sales associates are paid. Leadership lacks in cultivating a positive work environment. Customers constantly complaining about not getting through to client services or manager support if the salesperson is not available and nothing is ever resolved to solve the communication issues. Impossible to move up unless willing to move to a major branch/city.

Good Company, Trying Times

Pros

Good pay if you care about the business and stay in it for the long haul, robust supply network with nearly unlimited resources, great coworkers, big company with deep pockets. Job security is excellent if you’re a below average performer or better. The company is starting to offer better incentives and bonuses for front line employees.

Cons

Staffing and infrastructure are inadequate for the current pace of business. Unqualified branch managers. Underperforming employees are shuffled around from one department to the next while high performers are asked to take on more work day in and day out.

Pros

Great benefits, Great co workers, great culture

Cons

No real plan for advancement within credit department. No seat at the table for black women. Company encourages you to become involved with inclusion and diversity, but undervalues what black associates bring to the company. Some managers care about the development of employees, other managers only care about what you can do to make their numbers look good. Management has developed passive aggressive virtual environment for employees. Managers are always in meetings and lack the ability to develop authentic relationships with team.
