Pros

Occasional bonuses, 401k, benefits Paid holidays

Cons

Management is terrible. I read Glassdoor’s reviews before applying here and I should’ve listened to them. The company hired way too many people and now are laying off some of their best staff. The technology is very outdated and because of that, there’s always communication problems. You will never feel protected at this company, as there’s always something to mess up.

Pros

product training with area sales reps was a very good experience, they were all very knowledgeable and professional people, warehouse people and drivers work hard, counter people at the different branches, were always very helpful and accommodating, some co-workers were awesome to work with, also helpful and kind

Cons

long hours, too much stress, actually extreme stress at times, management belittles employees, lots of favoritism, unrealistic KPI system, some people work, some goof off a lot, some just needlessly cause trouble for others and make for a hostile work environment. sad for all the really hard workers who basically just slave away there while the big corporation just finds more and more ways to steal income from their hard working employees. all the money Ferguson makes and very, very little of it is trickled down to the slave at the computer, helping the customer but rest assured while the employee is being beat like a donkey and expected to perform, with little pay, upper management is getting the big fat bonuses. also customer service sucks at this place and if customers only knew how badly they were talked about, they would think twice about buying anything there. also it doesn't speak well of the company that a lot of people stay there because they feel stuck there, like they feel they can't go anywhere else, so they put up with adverse working conditions but really just wish there was someplace else they could go where they would be appreciated for all their hard work, dedication and time away from their families.
