Pros

Apparently nothing to mention, cheap workers taking advantage from UK construction industries

Cons

No training what so ever. Salary was minimal, at least for the UK workers I'm not sure about those families who working in the office. No conversation between manger and his/her team for weeks long except forwarding emails without any explanations. Meeting? that's for the aliens. English Language is the third language on the site Spanish first and then Portuguese, even in the correspondent. Never seen my direct manger on the site although his title was directly involved working on the site, he didn't even know how to use the instruments, he can be the first construction manager in the world who never seen the site in the real thanks to Google earth. Not many people stays more than a year with the company, there is no career prospect what so ever , there are more managers than workers. Taking short cut and lies became culture, so the knowledge and skills are useless. Awful place to work, very bad experience.

Pros

Free breakfast and fruit in the office.

Cons

Very negative corporate culture. Extreme micromanaging related to minor topics, priorities and work organization is a complete mess, old procedures without any kind of innovation. Absolutelly no collaboration between different areas or even within the same department, no working life-balance and very limited benefits.

Pros

None, the only pro is to leave the company or better: not join it!

Cons

Worst company I've ever worked in. I can guarantee that the nearly 2 years I worked there I learned nothing or worse, I learnt how to do things their worse way, without any technical quality, just manipulating data at heads of department will. Lot of fines and publications about crossing legal lines and no company response to that, unbelievable. As some said in their comments about the company, it all depends on the team you are included in, but I saw despicable behaviours which are completely impossible to understand in a company this size, and with its importance. All managers in my area, not only my department, are people who do not have enough education level for the duties they are performing, eg. analizing data when they do not understand how to use a ratio or even how to work with e-mail... If you are efficient getting your goals during your working hours don't worry, they will hold a meeting with you to guarantee you stay at the office until 9 PM, just an "advice" to keep your job. They don't let you change anything or listen to any of your proposals, your duty is to follow orders like a robot, and many employees are requested to leave their rights at home. If only this had been something to blame management team it may have not been that bad, but the corporate culture is a mess. If you are lucky you get a nice team, but in my case it was like with managerial team, not only my department but the whole area had a bad relationship, all gossip and talking crap about the others. I knew many people accross different departments and functions at corporate level suffering from managerial verbal abuse, interns who work till night been advised even about who they talk to, employees who quit within their first 2 months, and just a worry about how you look like, physically and your presence in the office. I could be writting about this company for ages, but if you have any working ethics, like technical quality, are a qualified professional...just run away from them, seriously!
