Pros

The pros and potential cons share the same foundation -- building an emerging business. That means there are ample, ever changing challenges within every business function. It's the need to solve these that provides opportunity for personal and professional growth. The organization is securely funded, people are engaged with the business and senior leadership brings a uniquely powerful combination of futuristic idea generaiton and previous tangible successes.

Cons

Again, building an emerging business where you can't rely on simply replicating what you did last quarter can at times give way to frustation. Significant growth in one function of the business can fracture another function. For those that can embrace these moments as a challenge, it becomes a pro. For those that struggle with the challenges that change brings, its a con.
