Pros

4 weeks PTO 7% match on 401k Will train on finance topics and for the FINRA exams

Cons

This is a customer service role through and through. They will portray it like it’s something more, but it’s not. There is absolutely zero growth off the phones. They’ll hang carrots in front of your face, you’ll get a nibble and they yank it away from you. Your manager will act like he/she has goals for you to get off the phones, but it never transpires. This is a great role to learn about financial topics, but it should only be a means to an end. Get your license and get out. Next, they will also micromanage your time. If you’re spending too much time in after call work to take notes on clients accounts, that will affect your calls per hour. All they care about is stats and networking. Be advised before applying.

Pros

The starting pay is pretty good for a call center. Great benefits as well.

Cons

They claim that there are so many different opportunities to grow within the company, but make it impossible to explore those options due to working a strict schedule on the phones. The call volume is back to back with no room to breathe in between calls. You go through 3 months of training and still feel confused at the end. They encourage you to ask questions and reach out for help, but when you reach out for help, you're reprimanded for doing so. You have no say so in your schedule and you have to work between 12pm-8pm so say goodbye to having any type of social life. They offer free therapy and after working there for about a week, you'll quickly understand why.

Pros

Free granola bars sometimes in the office, horray!

Cons

Everyone I've worked with has no personality. So much corporate language, no one has any personality, everything is always good and everyone is always "happy", and management is apparently always right and has the best intentions in mind. Fidelity also sends out surveys about everything but never listen to feedback. For example, they're making everyone go back to work even though no one does (although very few admit it to suck up to management). Gotta get back that "office culture", right? Upper management never answers questions in company meetings and instead gives vague, political-like answers. Pay is low and benefits are VERY average. Other companies offer so, so much. This place will suck out your soul and personality.
