Pros

They tend to treat their longer termed employess well by offering fair compensation packages (variable comp) and extra vacation, but don't let your tenure fool you into thinking you have job security.

Cons

Political as any other company. Know who to have a beer with and when and you'll do fine. They definitely look for the can doers but the "slackers" seem to do just as well. Lots of corporate changes have stirred the pot.

Pros

I enjoyed working with several of the managers when I first started at Fift Third. But within a year, they had all left or were fired.

Cons

Highly political with a lot of back stabbing. Slow to adopt new technology - very cheap. Several people I worked with deliberately sabotaged projects.

Pros

Its a good size bank..The compensation is OK..Benefits are very good. Training part is also good.

Cons

Even so they pay good compensation they make it very difficult to make a bonus due to very extremely high goals (quotas) to achieve. Plus constant pressure from the management to complete the goals. That is why they have extremely high employee turnover
