Pros

The only good things about this position are the work/life balance when management can figure out what they need and remote ability.

Cons

HR will not share the pay range for our position; calls it proprietary. Management refuses to back their employees. Management is lazy and lacks motivational skills. Management lacks the ability to create a harmonious work environment. Management is lacks compasssion for their employees. Management doesn't show interest in employee retention. Management is unengaged. Management is inappropriate and discusses with other employees how they are going to reprimand their employee.

Pros

Used to love fifth third bank. It is an actual joke.

Cons

Cannot express how unimportant you feel at fifth third. No matter how good you are at your job, no matter if you have never been late, you are still treated like dirt. You do not get promoted. Management has no skills whatsoever. Management cares less about your job. I would never ever recommend working for this bank. I cannot believe I wasted years at a job that I was not even acknowledged at.

Pros

Interesting work. Rarely a dull day. Good 401k match. Health care better than some places.

Cons

People haven't been getting raises. Multiple people in the bank compared their raises and they are about 1% a year. They could at least give their entry level employees a nice bump every other year or so.
