Pros

Good starting pay for a part time position. Some branches aren't too busy.

Cons

Branch can be low staffed and you'll get overworked if so. Growth opportunities are very slow and limited.

Pros

It gets better once you move to another departments. Benefits Bonus pay Incentives Concierge service

Cons

It really depends on where in the bank you work. Working in the call center is hell, specially if you are in the bilingual team because of the call volume get. Underpay stressful. Policies changes Not up to day in technology

Pros

Upper management decides what branch you'll be working at so if you're lucky enough to be placed at a branch with a manager and coworkers that you get along well with then you'll like working here. That's what's kept me here for so long. It's also refreshing to have upper management that is NOT out of touch with the responsibilities and experiences of branch employees. They've all been in our position at one point in time so they know exactly what we deal with.

Cons

New hires make more than tenured employees, and management won't give out raises to match it even if you ask. Raises are only given at the beginning of the year and are completely performance-based without regard to tenure. Also if you don't live in/near Cincinnati or Grand Rapids, MI and aspire to become anything other than a branch manager, mortgage loan officer, or investment advisor then there is no career growth available to you. Even most of their remote jobs require you to live in/near Cincinnati or Grand Rapids.
